Walk through the halls and you'll see it in real time: beginners finding their footing, intermediate students gaining confidence, and our most advanced musicians performing at a level that stops you in your tracks. And through all of it, kids are smiling and exactly where they want to be.

This is what it looks like when young people bloom. Every year, DCYOP reaches 700+ young musicians across the DMV and gives them something that belongs to them: a place to learn, grow, and transform their lives through music, regardless of their background.
